You need to understand the concepts of different types of mathematics. Let’s take a look at different types of Math you should learn when you run your very own business.

Arithmetic

Arithmetic is number crunching. You need to be able to do simple sums and know what your numbers mean for the business to function well. You also need to be able to do a little bit of mental math to add up orders, etc.

Being good at geometry helps with designing certain products such as posters or logos because mathematicians are always using geometrical shapes to create things for all sorts of different projects. It just makes sense that if we use math to make things then we will need math to design those same things.

Calculus

Calculus is the most advanced type of mathematics out there so you probably won’t need to worry about it. Generally, Calculus is only needed in very specific fields such as engineering or physics but not when running your own business!

However, if you are running a business that requires engineering or physics then you might have to learn calculus as well.
